IOCL Recruitment Stipend and Apprenticeship Durations
The stipend for apprentices will align with the guidelines of the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended), and Corporation guidelines. The apprenticeship durations vary for different roles:
- Technician Apprentice (Elect/Mech/T&I): 12 months
- Trade Apprentices (Assistant HR/Accountant): 12 months
- DEO and Domestic DEO: 12 months
Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Pipelines Division Recruitment
Technician Apprentice-Mechanical:
Candidates must possess a full-time diploma of three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of a minimum one-year duration/10+2) in either Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering from a government-recognized institute or university.
Technician Apprentice-Electrical:
Applicants need a three-year (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full-time diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a government-recognized institute or university.
Technician Apprentice-Telecommunication & Instrumentation:
Aspiring individuals for this position should hold a three-year (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full-time diploma in one of the following engineering disciplines:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
- Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering
- Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource):
Candidates are required to possess a full-time bachelor’s degree (Graduation) from a government-recognized institute or university.
Trade Apprentice (Accountant):
Aspiring accountants should hold a full-time bachelor’s degree (Graduation) in Commerce from a government-recognized institute or university.
Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices):
Candidates applying for this position should have a minimum qualification of 12th pass (but below graduate).
Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders):
To qualify for this position, applicants must have completed at least the 12th standard (but not attained a graduate degree). Additionally, they are required to hold a certification known as the “Domestic Data Entry Operator” Skill Certificate, which should be awarded by an accredited organization acknowledged under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority officially recognized by the Central Government.
