Eligibility Criteria Of APSC Recruitment
- Organization: Assam Public Service Commission
- Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- with GP of Rs. 6,200/-
- Age Limit: Participants should be between the ages of 18 – 40 as on January 01, 2024 but age limitation can be relaxed as per Government rules.
- Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary or Class XII passed from a recognized Board/Council.
Other Criteria
- Citizenship: Indian citizens as defined under Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India
- Residency: Permanent residency in Assam, validated by PRC or Employment Exchange Registration certificate
- Age Relaxation: As per government norms:
- SC – by up to five years;
- ST- by up to five years;
- OBC/MOBC- by up to three years;
- PwBD- by up to ten years.

Computer Proficiency Requirements
Candidates are expected to have a solid understanding of office productivity software tools, irrespective of operating systems such as MS Windows, Linux, Mac, etc. Proficiency in the following areas is necessary:
- Word Processor: Working on creating documents and editing documents.
- Spreadsheet: The skill to process data in an efficient and organized manner.
- Presentation Graphics: The ability to build and deliver interesting presentations.
- Content of Database: Ability to handle databases and to make reasonable adjustments to them using various tools and techniques.
- Internet: Efficiency to use web-based resources.
- E-Mail: Capability to manage emails systematically and successfully.
Additionally, the applicants must have a completed diploma/certificate in computer proficiency from a Govt. of Assam recognized institution, with no breaks in qualification permitted. Additionally, The candidates should also know how to use the computer in both the languages English and Assamese.
