Assam IWTDS Recruitment 2023 Details
1. Project Officer
- Remuneration: The Project Officer position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,50,000, or a 30% increment on the incumbent’s salary, whichever is lower.
- Qualification: Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree from any government-recognized university or institution.
- Work Experience:
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in partnership management, encompassing service providers from both the public and private sectors.
- Demonstrated proficiency in coordinating relationships with project stakeholders and external resource agencies.
- Adept at team building, overseeing project management, handling administrative functions, managing finances, and resolving conflicts at the district and other units.
- Proficiency in project-based studies, evaluation, research assignments, and quality control practices.
- Prior experience in managing EAP (Environmental and Social Assessment Project) initiatives is highly desirable.
2. Communication & Media Specialist
- Remuneration: The Communication & Media Specialist role offers a competitive monthly remuneration ranging from Rs 1,00,000 to 1,20,000, or a 30% increment on the incumbent’s salary, depending on the current earnings.
- Qualification: A Master’s degree in Communications, Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Political Sciences, International Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields is the educational requirement.
- Work Experience:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in communications and media strategy, covering media planning, content management, public relations, and digital/social media engagement.
- Proficient in communication with exceptional writing and drafting skills.
- Familiarity with photo editing tools and audio-video editing software is essential.

Prospective candidates should mark their calendars for the walk-in-interview scheduled on the 10th of November 2023 at the office of Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society (AIWTDS), situated on the 3rd Floor of the Directorate of Inland Water Transport in Ulubari, Guwahati, Assam.
