Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 Correction Update
The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) has published two notifications regarding the initiation of a correction period for individuals who have erroneously provided inaccurate details in their ADRE applications. The correction phase for Assam Direct Recruitment is set to be available from 11 AM on January 5th to January 18th, 2024. Applicants who have entered any incorrect particulars are now able to rectify their information through this dedicated correction window.

Essential details for Assam Direct Recruitment 2023
The Government of Assam has recently announced a substantial number of job openings for Grade III and Grade IV positions as part of the Assam Direct Recruitment 2023. This move fulfills the commitment made by the Chief Minister of Assam, with a total of 12,600 vacancies in Grade III and Grade IV positions. The recruitment process for Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 is under the jurisdiction of the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC), which is set to commence the ADRE 2.0 recruitment process on November 10, 2023.

- Grade-III: 7,600 Posts

Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria
For Grade III Posts:
Category I (Bachelor Degree Level):
- Number of Posts: 4,055
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with a Computer Certificate/Diploma (minimum 6 months) from a recognized institute. It can also include a Stenography Certificate or a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science with the same computer certification.
Category II (HSSLC Level):
- Number of Posts: 3,127
- Minimum Educational Qualification: HSSLC (or equivalent) examination passed, including HSSLC (Science) examination passed.
Category III (HSLC Level):
- Number of Posts: 418
- Minimum Educational Qualification: HSLC (or equivalent) examination passed with a valid LMV Driving License.
Age Limit for ADRE Grade III Posts: Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2023, with relaxations for certain categories such as SC/ST, OBC/MOBC, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities candidates.
For Grade IV Posts:
- Minimum Educational Qualification: HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed. The number of posts varies depending on additional qualifications, including ITI pass certificates in specific trades.
Age Limit for ADRE Grade IV Posts: The age limit and relaxations are the same as for Grade III Posts.
Application Fee for ADRE 2023: There is no application fee for any category of candidates. Candidates are not required to pay an application fee for online application submission.
Selection Procedure for Assam Direct Recruitment 2023
For Grade III Posts:
The specific selection criteria and examination mode for different post categories will be communicated in due course. After the written examination, shortlisted candidates will undergo skill tests such as Computer, Stenography, and Driving Skill tests.
For Grade IV Posts:
The selection process includes a Written Test and an Interview, and the scheme of examination follows the “Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-III and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules, 2022.”
How to Apply for ADRE 2023:
Candidates should visit the official website (www.assam.gov.in or www.sebaonline.org) and select the “Apply online for Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 for Grade III or Grade IV Posts” option, which will open the application form in a new browser tab. The online application link will be available from November 10, 2023.
The application process involves registration, login, filling out personal and educational details, uploading necessary documents, and making the application fee payment, if applicable. Finally, candidates should take a printout of the application form.
