Eligibility Criteria for SSC CPO Recruitment 2024
Age Limit
Applicants for the SSC CPO Recruitment must be between 20 to 25 years of age as on August 1st, 2024. Candidates have to be born between August 2nd, 1999 and August 1st,2004 to get eligibility.
Age Relaxation
Certain relaxations are provided in maximum age limit for candidates from specific categories:
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years
Educational Qualification
All applicants should have successfully completed their Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification. Those who are eligible include those who have appeared in the Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent examination but must possess the essential qualification as on cutoff date i.e. August 1st,2024.
Additional Requirements for Male Applicants Applying for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police:
To be eligible, male applicants seeking to apply for the position of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police must have a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date specified for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT). Candidates without a valid LMV (Motorcycle and Car) driving license are eligible only for the Sub-Inspector position in CAPFs.

Scheme of Examination for Sub Inspector Posts
The selection procedure for Sub Inspector Posts involves various examinations/tests that ensure the suitability of candidates in terms of their qualifications. The scheme of examination includes four essential stages i.e. Paper-I, PST/PET, Paper-II, and Medical Examination are the stages of the examination.
Paper-I: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
The 4187 Sub Inspector Posts applicants that have applied online will be required to take the Computer Based Examination (CBE) before progressing to other stages. Below is a brief description of the CBE:
