The role in question is for Junior Officer Trainee (HR). You’ll begin your journey as a Supervisor Trainee (ST) for a year of initial training. Upon successful completion, you’ll step into the S1 grade.

A three-year full-time Graduate Degree – BBA/ BBM/ BBS or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks from a recognized Institute/ University. But post-graduate degrees or higher education qualifications won’t cut it for this post.

As of October 5, 2023, you should be under 27 years old.

Now, let’s talk money. During your training period, you’ll receive a stipend of Rs. 27,500 per month. Once you’ve successfully completed your training, you’ll become a Junior Officer (HR) Gr-IV at S1 level in the Supervisory category. This comes with a basic pay of Rs. 25,000 in the pay scale of Rs. 25,000-3%-117,500 (IDA).

But that’s not all. Your compensation package upon regularization includes various perks like Dearness Allowance, Perquisites and Allowances, Performance-Related Pay, Housing or HRA, Conveyance Expenditure Reimbursement, and even a Mobile and Laptop. Plus, you’ll enjoy benefits like Provident Fund, Gratuity, Pension, Leave Encashment, Group Insurance, and Group Personal Accident Insurance, among others. All in all, it adds up to approximately Rs. 9.48 Lakhs per annum (excluding Performance-Related Pay).

The selection process includes three stages:

1. Online Test: This carries 100 marks, so you’ll want to brush up on your HR knowledge.

2. Group Discussion: This one’s a qualifier, so you just need to make it through.

3. Personal Interview: Worth 25 marks, this is where you can really shine.

You need to ace the Online Test to qualify for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection is based on how well you perform in the Personal Interview.

Before you dive into this exciting journey, make sure you have Rs. 500 handy. That’s the non-refundable application fee for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates. If you fall into the SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental category, you’re in luck – there’s no application fee for you.
